Comr. Joel Sitorus told Tempo on Tuesday. Evan was being chased after by a group of men at Pramuka Market, East Jakarta. Evan, who panicked, ran to the market’s second floor where he and his friend, Yoda, were cornered and beaten by a group of men. Yoda recklessly jumped from the second floor and broke his leg. On the other hand, Evan was thrown by his attackers from five meters high. Evan spent two days in intensive care at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital before he died.
