TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Head of Jakarta Tourism and Culture Services, Arie Budhiman, dismissed the claims that Jakarta was considered one of the worst cities in the world. According to Arie, such a predicate is a personal opinion that does not deserve to be taken into consideration. "So, what's the use of bothering about such an opinion?" said Arie at Hotel Twin Plaza, Slipi, Jakarta, Tuesday, June19, 2012. The predicate as one of the worst cities in the world appeared on CNN a few days ago. In addition to Jakarta, other cities thus described are Paris (France), Los Angeles (United States) and Sydney (Australia). Arie called the article, which was called a survey, a joke. Arie said that Jakarta should be proud to be put on a par with such major cities as Paris and Los Angeles. "So we should be proud that we're on a par with the said cities," said Arie. DIMAS SIREGAR
