Anas: Attempts to Pit One against Another Within Democrats Fail
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Democrat Party chairman Anas Urbaningrum assured that his party was not divided in spite of attempts to internally pit one against another within the party.
"I assure [you] that the attempts to play one group against another has failed," he said on Friday, June 15, 2012.
According to Anas, the unpleasant news regarding two camps at odds with each other within the Democrat Party was not worth making so much ado about. He also rejected attempts by parties who wanted him to get off the general chairmanship position. "Because I make sure that things like that are bound to fail," he said.
