Amir Suspects Immigration Violations In Neneng Case
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Law and Human Rights Minister Amir Syamsuddin suspects that immigration rules were violated because the country’s immigration authorities had not recorded Neneng Sri Wahyuni's arrival into Indonesia. "If there's no (document), this means that the immigration rules were violated," he said at the State Palace Thursday, June 14, 2012.
Amir said he could not tell if Neneng was arrested or she turned herself in. "This is not clear either," he said. Nonetheless, Neneng's attorney Rufinus Hutauruk denied that his client was arrested. He said Neneng did turn herself in [to the authorities].
