TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Tuesday night gathered the top figures and the functionaries of all-Indonesia Regional Executive Boards olf the Democrat Party at his private residences in Cikeas. Andi Nurpati, the official party spokeswoman, said that one of the agendas for discussion was the strategy to enable the Democrat Party to win the 2014 General Elections. "I think [he] will generally mention possible strategies to bring triumph to the Democrat Party," he said to Tempo in a text-message Tuesday, June 12, 2012. He added that in addition to tonight's get-together, the Democrat Party's Forum for Party Founders would also hold a meeting at Hotel Sahid. "It was an ordinary Forum meeting to discuss positive things for the Party. I think Pak SBY would not touch on this forum meeting [at Cikeas], since it is not very urgent," said Andi Nurpati. Queried whether the two meetings were a pre-condition toward an extraordinary congress (KLB) of the Democratic Party, Andi denied it, saying that a KLB is not a solution.
