TEMPO Interactive, Surakarta:Mayor of Surakarta Joko Widodo is scheduled to be invited by the Surakarta Royal Palace to receive a nobility title. Central Java Governor Bibit Waluyo and four cabinet ministers would also be given nobility titles. The nobility titles would be conferred on the occasion of the anniversary of the king's rule on June 15. "The government officials are scheduled to be invited by Sinuhun Paku Buwana XIII," said Chairman of Traditional Council GKRay Koes Murtiyah Saturday, June 9, 2012. He admitted that the conferment of the titles had to do with the process of recent reconciliation between the two kings [in Surakarta]. "Sinuhun (king) consider them meritorious in facilitating the reconciliation," said the younger brother of PB XIII. But Murtiyah did not know the kinds of nobility titles to be conferred on the six dignitaries. The titles would be granted a day before the highlight of the royal anniversary. "In addition to them, other persons would also receive titles from the palace," said Murtiyah. AHMAD RAFIQ
