Kalbe Exports Unaffected by Ailing Europe Economy
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Pharmaceutical producer Kalbe Farma has remained unaffected by worsening economic conditions in Europe because the company does not have a big presence on the continent. Joyce V Handajani, Kalbe Farma’s investor relations officer, said the company’s export focus only covered two continents. “We export to countries in Southeast Asia and some countries in Africa,” Joyce told Tempo on Wednesday. Joyce said the company has set an export target of 3-4 percent this year. The figure increases together with major contributions from Abbott Nutritional. SUTJI DECILYA
