Four Banks Ready to Finance Gempol-Pasuruan Toll Roads
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:A total of four bank have given Rp1.94-trillion in loans to Transmarga Jatim Pasuruan to build toll roads connecting Gempol and Pasuruan. The four banks involved in the construction of the 34.2-kilometer stretch are Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI and Bank Jatim. In the credit syndication, Bank Mandiri disbursed Rp702.1 billion while BNI contributed Rp614.4 billion, followed by BRI at Rp438.9 billion and Bank Jatim at Rp182.1 billion. The financing has a 15-year term with a grace period of 17 months. The financing covers 70 percent of the total costs of the construction. “We expect [the project] to be able to strengthen national infrastructure,” said Bank Mandiri corporate banking director Fransisca Nelwan Mok.
