Angkasa Pura to Build Private Jet Terminals
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Airport management Angkasa Pura I plans to build a special terminal to serve non-regular flights, VVIPs and private jets starting next year. In its initial stage, the special terminal will be constructed at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar and the Sepinggan Airport, Balikpapan. Angkasa Pura I CEO Tommy Soetomo said the company would be working together to execute the plan with Execujet Aviation Group, an aviation company based in Zurich, Switzerland. “We are planning to build [the special terminals] in all prospective airports,” said the CEO after signing the deal in Jakarta on Thursday. Both companies will prepare business feasibility studies, design planning, supporting facilities, service operational planning and business scheme. “We hope to be operational by 2013.” I WAYAN AGUS PURNOMO
