Shooters of IPB Security Guards Recognized from CCTV Recording
TEMPO Interactive, Bogor:The shooters of the two Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB) security guards, caught by Bogor and West Java police on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, were recognized from the tape of a CCTV recording from a minimarket at Darmaga, Bogor.
According to Bogor Police chief, Adj. Snr. Comr. Herry Santoso, the shooters, a few days earlier, also stole motorbikes from a minimarket at Ciampea and at Dramaga.
"The perpetrators were recognized from the motorcycles as evidence and from the CCTV tape when stealing at Alfamidi," said the Bogor Police chief to reporters at Cibinong Thursday evening, May 31, 2012.
Herry said police had just captured the prime perpetrator, MH, 21, and his younger sibling, A,18. Police also rounded up AS for allegedly helping his elder brother hide the gun used to shoot dead the IPB security guards, Supriatna aka Bonar and Suhardi.
"We caught MH with no resistance. Another main perpetrator, with the initial U, was still at large. Police are in pursuit of him. So, two persons have been arrested," he said.
