Striking IFT Employees Suspended
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indonesia Finance Today (IFT) Employees Union spokesman Abdul Malik says he has been informed that nine IFT employees are facing suspension but have not been fired. The employees, all members of the union, were allegedly suspended for their involvement in a two-week labor strike. “I received news that the IFT management held a big meeting on Friday, Apr. 20, in light of the work strike,” Abdul told Tempo on Monday. Abdul said IFT’s management was unhappy with the strike and had set a deadline for it to cease by the end of this month. MUHAMAD RIZKI
