Office Space Rents in Jakarta Skyrocketing
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Rental rates of premium and A-quality office buildings in Jakarta are expected to rise by 30 to 50 percent. The ‘new and improved’ tariffs have been triggered by the high demands for office space from companies engaging in financial services, mining, and plantation.
“The [prices] increased quite sharply, but, interestingly, tenants don’t mind because they can afford it,” said Bagus Adikusumo, Office Services director of property consultant Colliers International, on Monday.
