Central Java DPRD Ratifies Four Regulations
TEMPO Interactive, SEMARANG:Four regulations in Central Java were ratified by the Central Java Provincial House of Representatives’ (DPR) yesterday morning. The regulations included the law on Load Control on Streets, Cooperative Management, Educational Management and revision of People’s Credit Bank/Sub-district Credit Board regulation.
Central Java DPRD speaker Murdoko said the regulations were part of nine legislative initiatives during 2011. He said the DPRD was supposed to produce up to 15 regional regulations this year. However, due to the lack of budget, only nine could be ratified.
Provincial secretary Hadi Prabowo said he hoped the implementation of the regulations would be in line with the government and public’s expectation.
