Seven Bima Terror Suspects Handed to Tangerang DA Office
TEMPO Interactive, TANGERANG:The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Attorney General’s Office handed the files of seven Bima terror suspects to the Tangerang district attorney's office yesterday. The NTB provincial AGO’s general crime assistant Anwarudin Sulistiono said that all suspects would be tried at Tangerang District Court.
From seven suspects, the NTB’s AGO has only handed six people, namely Abrory M. Ali alias Maskadov alias Abrory alias Ayyubi, Sa'ban A. Rahman alias Umar Sa'ban bin Abdurrahman, Rahmat Ibnu Umar alias Rahmat bin Efendi, Rahmat Hidayat, Asrak alias Tauhid alias Glen and Furqan. Another one, Mustakim Abdullah alias Mustakim, has not been taken to Tangerang as he was under age.
The Tangerang district attorney's office chief, Jaja Subagdja, said the case would immediately be handed to the Tangerang District Court. The Class I-A Penitentiary head, Supriadi, said the suspects would be put in the orientation admission room. “We’re listing their identities,” he said.
Abrory and friends were suspects in the Khilafiah Umar bin Khatab Islamic Boarding School’s bombing in Bima, NTB. Abrory was the head of the school. Due to the explosion on July 11, a school employee, Suryanto Abdullah alias Firdaus, was killed.
Sa'ban A. Rahman was named a suspect after killing a member of the Bolo Police, Brig. Rohkman Saefuddin, on June 30. With the arrival of these suspects, the Tangerang District Court will try 20 terror suspects.
