Non-active Attorney General Sistoyo Considers Himself Victim
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Cibinong’s non-active attorney general, Sistoyo, said his superior, Suripto Widodo, was aware that he had received a bribe. Sistoyo said that when he was arrested, he had just finished a meeting with Suripto. “He knew what I was doing,” said Sistoyo after his questioning at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) yesterday. Sistoyo has been named a suspect in the corruption case involving stall instruction at Pasar Festival Cisarua, Bogor. Previously, he demanded the KPK name Suripto as a suspect as well. Suripto Widodo was questioned as a witness yesterday. Sistoyo was detained on November 21 along with two businessmen, Edward Bunjamin and Anton Bambang. The three were named as suspects after Anton admitted to having given Rp100 million to the Cibinong attorney generals. MUHAMMAD ANDI PERDANA
