Jakarta’s Green Map Extended
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Jakarta Green Map Community will have three more maps next year. The first map will cover the Kramat Jati sub-district. The second map will focused on green malls in Jakarta while the third will cover Jakarta’s slum areas, which are not included in the Jakarta spatial plan. It takes six months to one year to produce one map. The process includes a workshop to make an operation standard and a weekly survey until the map is printed. “The process will be conducted by three different teams at the same time,” said Green Map coordinator, Nirwana Joga, yesterday. The three maps are expected to be completed by the end of 2012 or early 2013. ARYANI KRISTANTI
