Mt. Lewotobi’s Activities on the Rise
TEMPO Interactive, KUPANG:The activities of Mt. Lewotobi Laki-laki continue to rise after its status was increased by the Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation Center (PVMBG) on September 22. "I received a report from the monitoring post that Mt. Lewotobi’s activities continue to increase," East Flores Regent Yosni Lagadoni Herin told reporters in Kupang on Saturday.
Yosni said that based on the seismic records, tremors occurred up to 102 times per day. On Mt. Lewotobi Perempuan, which is also on alert, tremors occur up to 20 times day.
