TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) attended the National Health Day commemoration event in Tangerang, Banten province, in West Java on Sunday and conducted an exercise with thousands of attendees.
He was accompanied by a number of cabinet ministers, the governor of Banten, the mayor of Tangerang and other officials from the Tangerang city administration.
In his speech at the evet President Jokowi called on the people to continue campaigning Healthy and Clean Lifestyle (PHBS).
He said PHBS could be realized by starting implementing a good eating and sleeping habit and regular exercise.
"Let us continue campaigning the PHBS by starting it ourselves and spreading it to other people to make cities healthy. PHBS is not aimed at one city only but across regions," he said.
President Jokowi said PHBS could help make people to remain healthy which is very important because it would be more difficult to cure an illness.
