TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tourism Minister Arief Yahya said delegations of the IMF-WB Annual Meeting booked 2,565 tourism package in Bali. Almost 93 percent of the packages were in the resort island.
“Because the time is limited,” said Arief Yahya in Denpasar, Friday, October 12.
The thousands of tourism packages were a ‘blessing’ for the local citizens due to the establishment of IMF-WB meeting in Bali. Besides, the government built infrastructures such as the underpass in Simpang Tugu Ngurah Rai considering accessibility was the top priority for sustainable tourisms. The road was inaugurated on September 22.
