Jokowi Camp Concludes Campaign Teams in 24 Provinces

    TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jokowi-Ma'ruf camp has completed its regional campain teams (TKD) in 24 provinces in Indonesia. 

    “We will soon complete the TKDs in the 10 other provinces,” said the deputy chairman of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf National Campaign Team, Arsul Sani, at the Cemara Post in Jakarta on Friday, September 14. 

    Arsul said there were no active regional heads chairing the teams. "There are several elected regional heads, those who win based on the results of the elections, but will not serve until the election in April 2019,” Arsul said.

    To date, eight governors have expressed support for the Jokowi-Ma'ruf camp in the 2019 presidential race, viz. West West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, East Nusa Tenggara Governor Viktor Laiskodat, South Sulawesi Governor Nurdin Abdullah, Bali Governor I Wayan Koster, Southeast Sulawesi Governor Ali Mazi, West Kalimantan Governor Sutarmidji, and Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. The governors will act as territorial directors in the election teams.
