TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian U-23 football team has successfully passed its first match in Group A of 2018 Asian Games. The team led by Luis Milla has defeated Taiwan for 4-0 at Patriot Stadium, Bekasi, on Sunday, August 12.
Stefano Lilipaly was the best player of the game. He scored two goals for Indonesia in the 67th and 76th minute. He also gave an assist to Alberto Goncalves at the 71st minute and another goal made by Muhammad Hargianto at the 90+3rd minute.
From the match, Indonesia ranked second at the group, one point behind Palestine as its second match win over Laos 2-1.
The next match will be Palestine against Indonesia on August 16 in the same stadium, at 19:00 local times, and will be live broadcasted by SCTV.
