TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State airliner Garuda Indonesia and its subsidiaries Citilink Indonesia won the award of 2018 travelers choice award from Trip Advisor. Garuda Indonesia was honored as the best airline while Citilink awarded as the best low-cost carrier.
Garuda Indonesia service director Nicodemus Lampe said the award was the pride for the airline. “We are currently establishing multiple integrated programs and innovations,” he said at Garuda Indonesia building on Wednesday, July 11.
Nicodemus considered the award as the new challenge for Garuda to cater best services consistently. “Especially through our flagship services,” he added.
Citilink Indonesia’s trade director Andy Adrian, meanwhile, explained the award was achieved thanks to the airline’s on-time performance, security, and cleanliness. The award was a chance to compete and expand networks to the domestic market.
Trip Advisor president Bryan Saltzburg stated Garuda Indonesia won the award for the second time as the top ten Asia’s airline.
The award, Bryan continued, was based on the rate and review posted by the users of Trip Advisor. “This award proves that Garuda Indonesia succeeds to maintain its predicate,” he said.
