TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno pledged to give special gifts for registrants of his program OKE-OCE. The promise was made in his visit to the training center for welding development in Condet, East Jakarta, Wednesday morning, July 11.
During his visit, Sandiaga delivered motivation speech to 200 participants of the training. He also pinned hope the three-month training of welding will create many new jobs in the future.
“I expect one participant in this training can create 20 job employment, so 4,000 new jobs will be opened at the end of the training,” said Sandiaga today.
As many as 200 people were trained to be professional welders. The participants got the equipment and also a chance to join the program of One Kecamatan, One Center for Entrepreneurship or OKE-OCE.
In the training, Sandiaga pledged incentives for Islamic pilgrimage umrah and tourism package to Bali and Bangkok for registrants of OKE-OCE program. “But it is for registrant number 39,998, 39,999, 40,001, dan 40,002," said the deputy governor.
As the report suggests, Sandiaga targetted 200,000 entrepreneurs to join OKE-OCE program in five years. He made a promise to give the rewards should the number of registrants reached 40,000 in a year.
