Fire Burned Down Wig Factory in Cilincing

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The fire burnt the warehouse of wig factory owned by Misung Indonesia in Cilincing, North Jakarta today, March 31. The factory was burnt down as reported by the Jakarta Police social media account, TMC Polda Metro Jaya.

"As many as 13 firefighter fleets are deployed to extinguish the fire," said an officer of North Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency, Nurdin Silalahi, when contacted by Tempo on Saturday, March 31.

According to Nurdin, the first report received was at 11:29 am and then the fire engine arrived at 11:35. "As many as 11 units are from North Jakarta and two others from East Jakarta," he said.

The last condition, Nurdin explained, thick smoke is seen soaring because the fire burning rubber material. Currently, the firefighter officers still trying to put out the blaze.

"The cause of the fire is unknown," he added. There has yet information about the victim in this fire incident which damaged the wig factory in Cilincing.
