The Head of Bali’s Information and Communication Agency Nyoman Sujaya said that the ministry has given the agency a green light to go with the temporary termination that was suggested by representatives of the Bali residents.
The internet data connection temporary termination will be effective during the Nyepi day on Saturday, March 17, from 06:00 central Indonesian times to the same time the following day, Sunday, March 18.
Nyoman Sujaya assured that the internet connection termination will only affect Indosat users and other cellular operators that choose to comply. This means that Bali’s internet connection in general during Nyepi will not be affected by this rule.
