TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned oil company PT Pertamina (Persero) increases the prices of Pertamax, Pertalite, and Dexlite fuel by Rp150 starting today. Pertamina Vice President Corporate Communication Wianda Pusponegoro said that adjustments to special fuel (BBK) prices are made as a response to the development in gasoline prices in December 2016.
Moreover, Wianda said that in the same period rupiah has weaken 0.7 percent to US dollar. “Adjustments are made to Pertamax, Pertalite and Dexlite fuel at Rp150 per liter applicable across regions [in Indonesia],” Wianda said this morning via WhatsApp in Jakarta.
Wianda pointed to Jakarta as an example, where Pertamax fuel price increase to Rp7,750 per liter, Pertalite fuel to Rp 7,050 per liter and Dexlite to Rp6,900 per liter. Wianda explained that Pertamax Plus, Pertamax Turbo and Pertamina Dex fuel prices are unchanged. “We will continue to maintain competitiveness of Pertamina products in terms of both quality and prices” Wianda noted.
