TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -Jakarta Elections Supervisory Committee (Bawaslu) expects the upcoming Jakarta Regional Election (Pilkada) could run peaceful and smooth.
"We want to encourage the peaceful campaign. Moreover, many issues that arise are not in accordance with the vision and mission," said Muhammad Jufri, Division Coordinator of Legal and Prosecution Offense for Jakarta Bawaslu, Thursday (10/13).
He wants issues about discrimination based upon ethnicity, religion, race and social group (SARA) not to exist during Pilkada. The candidate is asked to deliver vision, mission and program for five years ahead.
