TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - MINI Indonesia introduced 10 Special Edition MINI for its Indonesian fans. "Today, MINI Indonesia introduces the MINI Cooper S Countryman Knightsbridge," said Karen Lim, BMW Group Indonesia President Director on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
Karen said that the thing that distinguish the MINI with other vehicles in its class was is its ability to provide a disticnt personality to its driver. "What makes it more special is that MINI only produces 400 MINI special edition in the world," Karen said.
The MINI Cooper S Countryman Knightsbridge is a four-door five-seater saloon with flexible mobility aimed at accommodating an active lifestyle. "The Mini Cooper S Countryman Knightbridge is good match for those who enjoy adventure, road trips, and outdoor activities," Karen added.
The special car will be sold at Rp. 759 million and comes equipped with a gasoline powered four-cylinder engine. In addition, it also employs the MINIMALISM technology that optimizes the car’s aerodynamics, resulting optimal driving performance and efficient fuel consumption.
With its six-speed Steptronic transmission, the MINI Cooper S Countryman Knightsbridge is capable of producing 184 horsepower between 5,500 to 5,600 revs per minute (rpm) with a maximum torque of 240 Nm at 1,600 to 5,000 rpm.
The car took 7.9 seconds to go from a standstill to 100 km/h with an estimated top speed of 210 km/h.
"The Mini Special Edition also provides a five-star security level based on the Euro NCAP crash test," Karen said.
