400 Marshals Prepared for Jakarta Formula E Race

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta E-Prix 2022 organizing committee in an interview with Tempo on Thursday said that it will prepare roughly 400 trackside marshals during the Formula E event slated for June 4 at the Ancol area.
Vice President Infrastructure & General Affairs Jakarta E-Prix OC 2022, Irawan Sucahyono, said there would be 400 marshals and 400 security officials, which all will be supplied by the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI).
Discussions regarding racing marshals were mentioned by the IMI deputy chairperson Ananda Mikola. He said that marshals for the Formula E race will be chosen from those who are already experienced in racing events at the Sentul Circuit in Bogor.
"In terms of the Formula E marshals, we will cooperate with the Sentul International Circuit as they have experienced several times hosting F2 and A1 races," said Ananda, who is a former racer in several open-wheeled racing series.
“They are all experienced personnel. We only need to retrain them,” Formula E Jakarta 2022 chief executive chairperson Ahmad Sahroni concurred.
