Dubai Expo: Governor Anies Baswedan Welcomes Investors to Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan invited global investors to invest in Jakarta during the Dubai Expo 2020. Anies said that Jakarta is a city full of opportunities, supported by infrastructure, ranging from environmentally friendly to world-class tourist attractions.

"On behalf of the Jakarta Provincial Government, I give you a warm welcome to come and collaborate with us in Jakarta," Anies said during the business forum at Expo 2020 Dubai that was launched virtually on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

For the two-day business on March 15 and 16, Jakarta's theme is 'Accelerating the Infrastructure Development through Investments'.

The city's investment promotion unit, the Jakarta Investment Center (JIC), will be the gateway for investors interested to put money in Jakarta.

The Jakarta government is one of the vendors in the Indonesian Pavilion during the expo on from March 11 to 17, 2022. The Indonesian Pavilion was inaugurated on October 1, 2021, in conjunction with the opening of the World Expo 2020 Dubai which ends on March 31.
